Description

The McKinley is a "heavy-duty" oversized hooded rectangle adult sleeping bag using a 2-layer offset construction to eliminate cold spots. The McKinley -30 degree sleeping bag uses Techloft Insulation, which consists of multi-hole staple-length micro-denier fibers that have a siliconized finish for maximum insulation, loft, and compactness. It will keep you toasty on those cold weather nights when you'd prefer to have more "wiggle room" than you get with your mummy bag. The contoured hood also helps keep you warmer and keeps your warmth sealed in. For transporting, we include a compression stuff sack and roll-up straps. This is a great hunting bag for those frigid nights when you want a good night's sleep.

Well for one immediately when I received. This product it was used! Secondly it had a mold smell to it. Not happy about that at all!it should of been inspected properly a little spary fragrance don't hide mold it needs sunlight oxygen absorbers in the layers when stored.I will include how I know it was used in photo.I inspect everything. Minor things I can look past.I am keeping the product. Also explain a few things to help everyone out. With mold or mold smells direct sunlight opened up 4 hours one side 4 hours other side otherwise 2 days should solve it. prewashed btw the material is pretty delicate on the outside to clean it to many times so only when needed simple paper towel soap basic cleaning.Immediately remove the Velcro from the outside it will shredd your bag how I knew it was used in the first place. Other then strands of fiber the bag is not made of inside it among other tell tale signs. It's a huge bag huge I like it personally but if your hiking quite far it's very bulky 6'1 155lbs it's bulkier then my torso it's not that heavy for a few days or a week at all to carry 10-15 lbs no biggie. You could use a sled or pull cart if needed easily. It's very warm 2-3 people could fit in it maximum. With a tarp this thing can be a tent for 1 it's that big. I sleep on this thing every night. Like I said your going to want to remove the velcro.Iso rating IDK. In the photo is where the Velcro damaged the bag. It was packed very very well when arrived impossible to be damaged in shipping process. I left one spot out cause it was my use of it velcro abrasion damage immediately removed the Velcro afterwards.if removed properly no damage at all single thread take your time. Velcro is horrible thing to use on anything. I don't like Velcro it's just a bad idea only good for kid shoes or to stick a light on a wall. For a real thurhike not a good idea at all. if it was completely waterproof ip68 this could be a tent/sleeping bag/backpack all in one :)In the end I really like the product. The outside material I wish was the inside material it's very good material on the inside excellent. I love the patterns and design. Highly comfortable trust me. Plenty of room for wiggling ;) for the manufacturer I'd suggest completely removing the Velcro asap. A simple button that snaps would of be perfect. Velcro Frey's eventually it stops being Velcro quickly. If I had to buy again I'd investigate and ensure its new and directly from manufacturer directly before purchasing only and yes absolutely would. But very critical doing so.
