This is the most incredible blanket I have ever used. It is so soft and luxurious. It is close to weightless but provides blissful warmth! I love it.I love this blanket. Soft, warm but fairly lightweight, the color is way more beautiful than the picture showed. While this doesnt affect the quality, and is in no way the fault of the seller, I just want to also say to be aware that it is more of a small blanket or lap throw. It is perfect for lounging on a couch or easy chair with. I was looking for more of a meditation shawl- which this will work for, but not quite long enough to wrap well around shoulders. This is just a note for people looking to buy. The quality is very nice, and well worth the priceOften, alpaca products are still somewhat itchy likely because they are actually a blend with wool and they don't disclose that (I'm allergic to wool) or have some chemical added to meld fibers or smooth them out (a form of mercerizing, maybe?). This blanket is smooth, warm, and soft with no itchiness! The green offering is an intriguing blend of colors, and there is a nice range of other colors available. It's also reasonably priced, as alpaca products go, for such a well-manufactured product. I also checked in to see if the shearing process of the sourced alpaca herd was humane and received a quick response that it most definitely is. Of course, I can't verify that but it's nice to think about.I'm allergic to alot, other than alpaca/cashmere. I slept with this blanket and had no reaction so its truely not a blend. Its incredibly warm for how thin it is!This was a gift for a friend who moved to the beach. It arrived so quickly! She called almost speechless & choking back tears. Said it was absolutely beautiful, perfect color and exquisite quality! A wonderful surprise gift that she will enjoy forever! Think I'll have to order one for myself! Thank you so much!First, the Alpaca throw is of excellent quality, soft but luxuriously warm, with no scratchy fibers as with ordinary wool. Second, the seller was out of the color I ordered, but I was able to communicate with him, and found that a new shipment with that color would be available in a few weeks. I was happy to wait, which the seller much appreciated (expressed in a charming e-mail) so much so that when the package arrived he included a lovely black Alpaca scarf, with a nice note. There is something very nice and rewarding about making a purchase from a small, personable, quality firm in this time of Covid, when small businesses are having difficulties.Bought as a gift for someone who was looking for an alpaca throw. Nicely packaged and gift recipient was impressed with the company's included story and sourcing information. Good value over other shopped alpaca throw options.Bought to use in my hammock when backpacking. Works perfect. Lightweight, packs small, extra layer of warmth to increase the comfort of my hammock sleeping setup. Now I sleep with it every night in my normal bed. Love it.
