I have to say that i'm sadden that there is only one review on here. I am not one to write reviews, but since there's only one, I have to since I love this "book" so much! I actually bought this book from a bookstore and my family and I had Lots of fun reading it on the way home. I say "book" because a book you read from start to end, this you could read that way or just jump into a page and read or pick a topic and read.It makes the scriptures not seem so "boring" after all and I try to incorporate some of the fun facts into my church lessons for adults and youth.... you could use for kids as well with a little explaining at times.This book came in major handy for a fun "spiritual" gift basket for a few members from church for Christmas this year.I used some facts and humorous scriptures with a gift item. One of which is a verse that reads "...behold I looked and saw a flying roll.." - so I put toilet paper in the basket. there's a verse that speaks of Spies that used fruits namely grapes... so grapes went into the basket along with scripture references. The book has the strongest people and the prettiest and refers to some of the people in scriptures as the first and real life Avengers and Super Heroes... which I used to give them Avenger'sh and towel and a wonder women pen with in the basket as well.I highly recommend this book for a fun read and quick reference when getting creative to give a lesson, gift or to leave a scripture quote after T-P-ing tents at girls camp. :)After telling family members of my gift ... they were wanting one too, so I'm now buying the book itself as gifts.
